Honey attended the surgery following her regular pamper session with the groomer who noticed a small lump on her neck and advised that she seek veterinary attention. It was advised to Honey’s owners that there was a possible foreign body lodged under the skin and an exploratory procedure would be needed to remove it. An appointment was made the following day for a general anaesthetic to lance and explore what may be lodged. During the exploration, Dr Kalinda found a grass seed which had been lodged quiet firmly and deeply. This was removed as shown and Honey was sent home with some pain relief. Honey has recovered very well from her surgery and her owners are very cautious of her frolicking in the grass.
